Rebecca Braybrook

Former presenter of The Will and Becky show and also Wednesday’s CCR Drive at Five.  Rebecca is currently taking a break whilst she is at university but is still running the CCR YouTube channel with Ryan and Adam.

What was your first radio memory?

I remember being really little and listening to the radio to see if our school would be closed when it snowed. There was just something very exciting about hearing your school being named on the radio, but also rather disappointing if it was still open and you had to go in!

How did you first get into radio?

When I was thirteen I was involved in an interview at Heart about Anti-Bullying week, I was instantly in awe over the desk and how everything worked and ended up going back for work experience when I was fourteen.  I knew then that it was something I wanted to do and after studying radio drama at college I decided to sign up for Hospital Radio. Since then I have moved over to CCR and love the opportunities the station has given me.

What is your favourite song ever?

Either Forever by Haim or Things We Lost In The Fire by Bastille

What three songs would you take to a Desert Island?

1.       Something from Gabrielle Aplin, either Shallow Love or Sweet Nothing.

2.       Did You Hear The Rain – George Ezra

3.       Boulevard Of Broken Dreams  – Green Day

What is your ambition?

I would love to be a presenter on Radio 1 or Radio 2 but I would be happy to produce any show on those stations. Although I now love the idea of moving to Australia and working at Nova FM in Sydney.
